Storage, transportation, loading and unloading of high-pressure fiberglass pipes
Section I Storage
GRP pipes shall be stored on flat ground or pipe rack. In order to prevent point load, four 50mm thick pipes can be used × 100mm (wide) wooden board is placed on the flat ground as a pipe rack, and the GRP pipes can be placed one at a time vertically to the axial direction of the pipe. In order to prevent the wear of joints or couplings at both ends, at least four 25mm (thick) pipes should be evenly placed under each of pipe × The 90mm (wide) wood plate is perpendicular to the axial direction of the pipeline. When storing the pipeline, the threaded sheath and tarpaulin shall be installed to avoid ultraviolet degradation and mechanical damage. The pipes packed in bundles shall be placed at the height of 2 packages, and the number of s of bare pipes and insulating pipes shall be limited to 12-15 s.
Section 2 Transportation
The fiberglass pipes shall be packed before transportation. At least four s of wood shall be evenly separated between s. The size of the lowest of wood shall not be less than 50mm (thick) × 100mm (wide), with two wooden boards in the middle and wooden pallets to facilitate forklift loading and unloading. When each of pipes is placed, the pipes should be staggered from each other to prevent thread damage during transportation. If the carriage length is not enough during transportation,
It is required that the length of the pipe hanging outside the carriage shall not exceed 1.2m. The pipe on the carriage shall be bound firmly with nylon rope or hemp rope, and l rope such as steel wire rope shall not be used. If bulk pipes of van-type trucks are used, three 150mm (wide) pipes shall be fixed vertically and equidistant on the carriage plates on both sides × 20mm thick × The wood boards at the height of the compartment shall be separated between each of pipes with recycled cotton blanket.
Section III Loading and unloading
The GRP pipes packed in bundles can be loaded and unloaded by forklift (crane). If there is no forklift, the package can be opened, and the pipes can be loaded and unloaded manually one by one. During loading and unloading, the pipes cannot be thrown to avoid damage to the pipes. For bare pipes and insulated pipes below 10MPa, the loading and unloading can be done manually one by one. For pipes above 10MPa, the loading and unloading can be done by crane, However, the distance between slings shall be 2.5m-4.5m, and the steel wire rope or hook shall not be used for direct loading and unloading. During unloading, the pipeline stacking site shall be flat to avoid thread damage, and special personnel shall be assigned to take care of it.
The following points shall be paid attention to during the secondary transfer of GRP pipes:
1. The container of the vehicle used for transfer shall not be shorter than 6 meters.
2. The exposed l protrusions on the vehicle shall not be directly in contact with the fiberglass steel pipes, and shall be wrapped with rubber.
3. The fiberglass steel pipes shall be placed in s, and each shall be separated by wooden boards.
